Running multiple Rational® Integration Tester tests in IBM® Engineering Test Management
To run multiple Rational® Integration Tester tests in Engineering Test Management, you must first enable parameter passing with Engineering Test Management, and then configure the tests in Rational® Integration Tester with the appropriate input and output parameters.
About this task
Procedure
- To enable parameter passing with Engineering Test Management, you must export two or more Rational® Integration Tester tests to Engineering Test Management, and then create a Engineering Test Management test suite.
- Configure all of the tests in Rational® Integration Tester with the appropriate input and output parameters. For example, for a parameter to be passed from Test A to Test B, Test B must have an input parameter with the same name as the output parameter from Test A.
- Export the tests to Engineering Test Management, create an Engineering Test Management test suite, and add all of the tests to the suite in order.
- Disable parallel processing of the tests, and enable Passing of execution variables between scripts. This can be done at run time in the Engineering Test Management user interface.
