Tester Guide
This guide describes the tasks that you can perform for testing various domains, technologies, and applications. To enable testing, you must configure and enable the environment for testing.

        Generating ANT scripts to run tests or suites
        You can generate ANT scripts from IBM® Rational® Integration Tester by using the Integration Tester Test Execution plug-in. You can use the generated script to run test resources automatically from within ANT by using the IntegrationTester ANT task.
        Exit codes for Command-line client and Ant client
        The Rational® Integration Tester Command-Line Client and the Rational Test Control Panel Ant Client applications share the same exit codes.
      - REST services
        Representational state transfer (REST) is a simple stateless architecture that generally runs over HTTP. When used in conjunction with IBM® Rational® Test Control Panel, HTTP methods (such as GET and POST) are mapped to actions on domains, environments, scenarios, stubs and other resource types.

Accessing Ant tasks

The Apache Ant tasks package contains Ant tasks for controlling the environment, scenario and stubs in Rational® Test Control Panel. The package is provided with Rational® Test Control Panel.

Download and extract the Apache Ant task package, AntClient.zip, from Rational® Test Control Panel. For more information, see Rational Integration Tester tool packages.

Note: Starting in V9.1.1 the Ant Client file was renamed to AntClient.zip from RTCPAntClient.zip.

The environment, scenario and stub Ant tasks are located in the com.ghc.ghTester.ant<Version Number>.jar file that is available in the downloaded AntClient package.
