Connected State

When Personal Communications is in the connected state and Windows 7 or later operating system indicates that the user is available for interaction, Personal Communications prompts the user to grant permission to sleep.

You can specify a setting in the User Preference Manager that allows the system to standby or hibernate without prompting. In default mode (unchecked), if there is at least one connected session, you will be prompted to allow the system to standby or hibernate. If there are no connected sessions, Personal Communications allows the system to standby or hibernate without prompting. See Standby/Hibernate.
