Sounds

Personal Communications supports the ShowSounds (Turn on text captions for spoken dialog) and SoundsSentry (Turn on visual notifications for sounds) options available in the Windows Control Panel → Ease of Access → Ease of Access Center → Use text or visual alternative for sounds. The ShowSounds option displays a string representing the event that generated a sound in the status bar.

To mute all of the sounds generated by Personal Communications, select the Mute option in the Settings → Appearance → Display Setup → Sound panel.
