The XID_RETRY_LIMIT parameter specifies the maximum number of times Communications Server sends XID commands to the remote station to establish a link without receiving an acknowledgment from the remote station in the time specified for the XID_RETRY_INTERVAL parameter.

XID_RETRY_LIMIT is an integer in the range 3–30.

This parameter is required. The default value is 5.
