systemGregorianDateFormat
The vgVar.systemGregorianDateFormat system variable is used as a possible value for the dateFormat property of DataItem parts. vgVar.systemGregorianDateFormat contains a 10-character pattern that includes dd (for numeric day), MM (for numeric month), and yyyy (for numeric year), with non-numeric characters other than d, M, or y used as separators.
For COBOL programs, the system administrator for EGL runtime services sets the default format during installation.
