closeFile()

The textReportDriver.closeFile() function closes the driver file that contains report information.

Syntax

  textReport.textReportDriver.closeFile()

textReport: The name of a variable that is based on the TextReport external type.
textReportDriver: The name of a variable that is based on the TextReportDriver external type.

Example

In the following example, the report engine closes the driver file that it created from a scratch file:

myReportDriver = TextReportDriver.createDriverFromTempFile();
myReport.setReportDriver(myReportDriver);
...
myReport.myReportDriver.closeFile();
