containsKey()
You can use the dictionary.containsKey() function to find out whether a specified string is a key in the dictionary. If the caseSensitive dictionary property is set to NO, case is not considered; otherwise, the function seeks an exact match.
Use containsKey() in a logical expression only.
Syntax
dictionaryName.containsKey(key STRING in)
returns (result BOOLEAN)- dictionaryName
- The name of a variable based on a Dictionary part.
- key
- The name portion of a name/value pair.
- result
- The function returns YES or TRUE if the key exists in the dictionary; otherwise it returns NO or FALSE.
