You can use transformations to create source code from a UML model. First you must create a transformation parameters file and then apply those parameters to a model.

Linking a UML model to an existing TPM file

The association between a UML file and its TPM file can be lost when the files are created separately or transferred in a manner that does not maintain the relationships between the files, such as a code repository.

Follow these steps to associate a UML file with an existing TPM file:

Make sure both the UML and TPM files are in your workspace.
In the workbench, right-click the UML file and then click Edit Transformation Parameters.
In the Create a New TPM file window, make sure that your UML file is listed in the Target Model field.
Select the Use existing Transformation Parameters Model check box.
In the Existing Parameters Model field, select the TPM file.
Click Finish.
