- Model driven development of EGL code
- Generating source code from UML models
  You can use transformations to create source code from a UML model. First you must create a transformation parameters file and then apply those parameters to a model.

locationSpec in fileLink element

ThelocationSpec property of the fileLink element of the linkage options part specifies how the CICS® system identifier of a remote file is defined. The following values can be specified:

CICS: Specifies that the location for a remote file is defined in the CICS® file control table (FCT) or destination control table (DCT).
PROGRAMCONTROLLED: Specifies that the location for the remote file is obtained from the sysVar.remoteSystemID system variable when an I/O operation is performed on the file. The location is passed to CICS® by way of the SYSID keyword on the EXEC CICS® command.
