With code review, you can create configurations of coding rules for EGL source code. You can then run the configurations to check the source code for consistency with the rules.

  With code review, you can create configurations of coding rules for EGL source code. You can then run the configurations to check the source code for consistency with the rules.
  - Overview of software analysis
    In a software analysis, a configurable set of coding rules is applied to a specified group of source code files. Results are generated that identify lines of source code that violate a rule.

Exporting EGL results

When the results of a code review include EGL information, you can export EGL information by selecting the appropriate language tab.

About this task

The analysis history from a code review can contain EGL information. This outcome occurs whenever the software analysis configuration contains EGL selections. In such a case, the data files that can be exported from the analysis history also contains EGL results.

Procedure

In the Software Analyzer Results view, click the EGL Code Review tab.
Click the Export the selected analysis history to a file icon.
In the Software Analysis Data Export window, select an export format.
Enter a path for the output file.
Click OK.

Results

The results information for the selected language is written in XML format to the output file.
