Setting preferences for Rich UI deployment

The deployment preferences affect the Rich UI deployment tab of the EGL Deployment Descriptor editor.

Set the deployment preferences as follows:

From the main menu, click Window > Preferences. The Preferences dialog box is displayed.
Expand EGL and Rich UI and then click Deployment. The Deployment page is displayed.
In the Locales area, you can select which locales are supported by default when you open the Rich UI Deployment tab in the EGL Deployment Descriptor editor. For details on the use of locales, see Use of properties files for displayable text.
All the locales that are available to you in the Rich UI Application locales area are listed in the Rich UI pane, as described in Setting preferences for Rich UI.
In the Deployment Metas area, you can select which metas are supported by default when you open the Rich UI Deployment tab in the EGL Deployment Descriptor editor. These selected metas are also used in the development HTML that is used in Visual Editor or RUI debugger.
All the metas that are available in the Rich UI Application metas area are listed in the Rich UI pane, as described in Setting preferences for Rich UI".
In the Deployment Mode area, when you select check box "separate JavaScript from html when deploy", the JavaScript content in the HTML is separated from the HTML file as a single .js file in the deployment. The .js file enables the browser cache for JavaScript file to boost the performance.
If you want to return the settings on the Deployment page to the original product settings, click Restore Defaults.
Click Apply to save your changes and remain on the Preferences dialog box. Alternatively, click OK to save the changes and exit the dialog box; or click Cancel to cancel the changes and exit the dialog box.
