Data access technologies

The core EGL product supports the following data access technologies:

Relational databases using SQL (Structured Query Language)
VSAM file access, using the following record stereotypes:
- IndexedRecord
- RelativeRecord
- SerialRecord

In EGL Rich UI, the following statement applies: File, database, and printer access is supported only by service access. The data access statements are not available in Rich UI handlers or in libraries generated into JavaScript™.
