startLog()

The sysLib.startLog() system function opens an error log. Text is written into that log every time your program invokes sysLib.errorLog() or when EGL throws an exception.

Syntax

  sysLib.startLog(logFile STRING in)

logFile: The name of a plain text file on your system path, or the complete path to such a file.

Example

The following example shows the sysLib.startLog() command:

  startLog("D:\\temp\\myLog.txt");
  errorLog("Test entry.");

The following example shows the contents of myLog.txt:
