booleanAsString()
The strLib.booleanAsString() system function returns the string "true" or the string "false" based on a Boolean value.
Syntax
strLib.booleanAsString(value BOOLEAN in)
returns (result STRING)
- value
- Input can be any variable or expression that is assignment compatible with the BOOLEAN type (see "Assignment compatibility in EGL").
- result
- Either the string "true" or the string "false".
Example
updateFlag BOOLEAN;
result STRING;
result = strLib.booleanAsString(updateFlag);
writeStdOut("File updated? " :: result);
// console displays: "File updated? false"
