        The CICS® region and each individual FM/CICS user must have a user ID defined to z/OS® with an OMVS segment. This allows usage of TCP/IP by FM/CICS.

      You can customize FM/CICS for national languages other than English.

    • Verifying the customization of FM/CICS

      After you have completed the initial installation and customization of FM/CICS, you can perform the following steps to verify your customization. You might need to refer to the File Manager for z/OS User’s Guide and Reference for CICS.

  • File Manager on VS Code

    IBM File Manager for z/OS is a host component that supports various interfaces such as Eclipse and Microsoft Visual Studio Code IDEs.

  • File Manager on Eclipse

    File Manager plug-in for Eclipse, when used with an Eclipse-based platform such as IBM® Explorer for z/OS® or IBM Developer for z/OS, provides easy access through a graphical user interface (GUI) on the workstation to IBM File Manager for z/OS.
