Navigating the Enhanced search and Change report

You can navigate the reports as follows:

  • Position the cursor on any line to view or edit the data set/member or path/file name.
    • Press Enter to view the data.
    • Press F4 to edit the data.

    The resultant view or edit session is positioned to the specific line if the cursor was on a data line, or at the first occurrence of the string if the cursor was positioned on a data set, member, path or name line. No action is taken if the cursor is not positioned in the report area.

  • Position the cursor to the INDEX field in the heading to see the current list of data sets being searched.
  • Press F4 with the cursor positioned on the command line to select SUM, DS, or RES primary commands from a menu panel.
  • Enter SUM primary command and press F4 to see only data set , member, path and name lines.
  • Enter DS primary command and press F4 to see only data set and path lines.

  • Enter RES primary command and press F4 to return to original result with the search string highlighted.
