SAVE primary command (Edit only)

The SAVE primary command makes FM/IMS immediately issue a checkpoint (CHKP) call. The checkpoint call requests to have all segment updates currently in buffers written to the database data sets.

Syntax

When a static PSB with no IO PCB is used to edit a database, the SAVE command is not active.
