Create Tape Data (option 4.7)

Use Create Tape Data to write simple test records to a tape file. You specify the tape that is to contain the records, the number of records, and the record length.

You can also specify a fill character or fill pattern, a sequence field, a record format, and a block size.

When you select Create Tape Data, the Create Tape Data panel is displayed.
