Translating the message text

All ADFzCC messages are provided in English.

Messages are also provided in Japanese if you have installed the Japanese component of ADFz Common Components, and in Korean if you have installed the Korean component of ADFz Common Components.

You can translate these messages into another language. (If no translated version of a particular message is available, ADFz Common Components uses the English version.)

All ADFz Common Components messages are stored in IPV.SIPVMENU. You translate a message as follows:

  1. Find the message members in IPV.SIPVMENU that you want to translate.
  2. Create a library with the same characteristics as IPV.SIPVMENU, with the name IPV.SIPVMyyy, where yyy is one of the following language codes:
    FRA
    French
    DEU
    German
    ITA

    KOR

Copy the required message members from IPV.SIPVMENU to this library.
  3. Change the required message text in the members in your library.

To use your translated messages, add your messages library, IPV.SIPVMyyy, to the IPVPLIB concatenation in front of IPV.SIPVMENU, in FMN3CICB.

See Customizing the batch procedure for information about FMN3CICB.
