Specifying the IMS™ subsystems

Include in the FMN1POPT module, one FMN1POPI macro statement for each IMS™ subsystem that is to be accessed by FM/IMS and use the SSID parameter on each statement to specify the subsystem ID. The SSID parameter is required.

Use the DESC parameter to specify a description of the subsystem. The description is displayed on the Subsystem Selection panel. The DESC parameter is optional.

You can use the FMN1POPD macro statement to specify an installation default for all the other parameters of the FMN1POPI macro statement. These parameters are optional. When a parameter is not specified on the FMN1POPI macro statement, FM/IMS uses the installation default (if specified) or the FM/IMS default (otherwise). So you only need to specify a parameter on the FMN1POPI macro statement if it differs from the installation or FM/IMS default.
