The user section

This section of the report is only present if one or more Formatting user exits were used to write information to the report.

The name of this section is by default "U S E R" in the batch report or "User" in the interactive reanalysis report, but can be changed by any Formatting user exit via the UFM.USEROPTIONTITLE data area field. It is preceded by the heading:

The AI analysis report

When IBM Fault Analyzer for z/OS Abend Intelligence is enabled, this section includes:
  • Executive Abend Summary: Plain-language description of why the application abnormally ended.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Technical correlation between failing offsets, storage registers, and application program logic.
  • Remediation and Code Modification: Recommended code adjustments and sample source fixes to resolve the abend.
The content of the AI analysis report is determined by the third-party Large Language Model (LLM) used.

If the background AI processing job has not yet completed when viewing the Fault Analyzer report, a status message is displayed.
