This edition of the documentation provides information applicable to Fault Analyzer Version 16 Release 1. It includes the following new
support:
- Fault Analyzer provides a Microsoft Visual Studio Code extension client that works in conjunction with the Zowe Explorer Microsoft Visual Studio Code extension. The Fault Analyzer extension includes an intuitive interface to help developers analyze and fix application and system failures. See Fault Analyzer on VS Code.
October 2024 (V16R1M0, first edition)
This edition of the documentation contains minor clarifications and corrections, as
well as the following significant changes relative to the previous version:
- Support for Java™ JVM versions, up to and including version 17. For details, see Adding the Snap class to the application class path and Using the Fault Analyzer Java wrapper utility.
- A new "@" command has been provided for the Dump Storage display. For details, see Displaying storage locations.
- Scroll and cursor positions are now maintained when using the PREV and NEXT commands from the Dump Storage display. For details, see NEXT and PREV.
