The Rational® ClearQuest® CM API is a unified Java™ API through that you can access Rational® ClearQuest®.

The Rational® ClearQuest® CM API extends the Workspace Versioning and Configuration Management (WVCM) API, which is a standard Java™ API for configuration management.

You can use the Rational® ClearQuest® CM API to build client applications that access product applications and to build new integrations to these products. Use the Rational® ClearQuest® CM API to build client applications that:
