Users can manage the change request environment from the Web (Rational® ClearQuest® Web), an Eclipse-based interface (Rational ClearQuest Client), or from Windows™ (Rational ClearQuest for Windows client). Administrators configure and manage that environment by using various administration tools.

Report Management with the Report Launcher for Rational® ClearQuest®

You can use the Report Launcher for Rational® ClearQuest® to run and share Rational® ClearQuest® reports.

Rational® ClearQuest® reports can be designed with the open source report designer from Business Reporting and Intelligence Tools (BIRT). The reports can be saved to a report file server where they can be run and shared using the Report Launcher for Rational® ClearQuest®. The Report Launcher for Rational® ClearQuest® is a web-interface and server component that uses Rational® ClearQuest® Reporting components and the server runtime engine for the targeted reporting environment to run and share reports.

You can access the Rational® ClearQuest® Report Launcher from the Rational® ClearQuest® Client, the Rational® ClearQuest® Web client, or directly from a web browser.
