To create activities from the Rational® ClearQuest® client (Rational® ClearQuest® enabled)

Procedure
- Start the Rational® ClearQuest® client.
- In the Rational® ClearQuest® client window, click .
- In the Choose a Record Type window, select an appropriate
record type that is enabled for UCM. (Your project manager sets up the record
types that are in your Rational®
ClearQuest® user
database.) Then click OK.
The required fields and the fields that contain invalid values are highlighted in red. If a field contains an invalid value, you can right-click the field and then click Error Message to see any message or explanation that your project manager may have included. If you have questions about what type of information a field requires, right-click the field and then click Help.
- Complete the required fields in the Rational® ClearQuest® user database Submit form.
- In the UCM Project list, select your project. (Your project manager determines the location for this list while creating the corresponding record type.) Then click OK.
