This document provides information about IBM® Application Delivery Foundation for z/OS® Common Components.
Summary of changes
This edition of the document provides information applicable to IBM® Application Delivery Foundation for z/OS® Common Components Version 1 Release 8. Changes to the latest release are indicated by a | change bar in the left margin of the page in the PDF format only.
Required authorizations
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
When clients initially connect to the ADFzCC server they are prompted for a user ID and a password or passphrase. If the credentials are valid, the client can start sessions on the relevant z/OS system as the nominated user.

The ADFzCC server can be configured to use PassTickets for authenticated clients.
