getKeyCode()
You can use the consoleLib.getKeyCode() system function to find the code point (numeric representation) corresponding to a specified EGL key name, based on the local character set where the function runs. In ASCII environments, the function returns the ASCII code for the name; in EBCDIC environments, it returns the EBCDIC code. For a complete list of key names, see Names for keyboard keys in EGL.

Syntax
consoleLib.getKeyCode(keyName STRING in)
returns (result INT)
- keyName
- The name of the logical or physical key for which to calculate the corresponding key code.
- result
- An INT that represents the cope point for the key name in the current environment.
