Disable Functions: Display Print Functions
Functions:
The radio buttons on the Display Print Functions pane enable or disable the print functions of display emulation sessions.
- Print Screen
- Prints a screen to a printer installed on your desktop. Print Screen appears on the File menu and the toolbar of a display session window.
- Print Graphics
- Prints Graphics to a printer installed on your desktop. Print Graphics
appears on the File menu and the toolbar of a display session window.
The Print Graphics menu option is provided in the File menu. You can use it to print part of screen or full screen in color.
- Print Screen Setup
- Provides Page Setup (paper type, orientation, and margins) and Print Setup (header/footer). Print Screen Setup appears on the File menu, and Page Setup and Print Setup appear on the toolbar of a session window.
- Print and Page Setup
- Provides print and page setup for non-Java print mode.
- ZipPrint
- For 3270 Display sessions, provides ZipPrint functions, including Print
From Application - Auto, Print From Application - Select Profile, Print
Screen, Customize Profiles, Printer Setup, and Page Setup. ZipPrint
appears on the File menu.

ZipPrint works only with 3270 Display sessions. - Print Screen Collection
- For 3270 Display sessions, Print Screen Collection captures a screen image for later printing.
Settings:
- Enabled
- Enables the function for:
- All end users who access the HTML file (HTML-based model); or
- The currently selected user or group (configuration server-based model and combined model).
- Disabled
- Disables the function. The menu item, button, or toolbar icon for this function is removed from the user interface of the client.
- Enable All
- Enables all the functions listed on the current pane.
- Disable All
- Disables all the functions listed on the current pane.
- Inherited (Enabled)
- This setting, which is available only when you open the Disable Functions window from the Administration Utility, indicates that the currently selected user or group (such as User1) inherits the setting of the group to which it belongs, and that this setting is enabled in the group. For example, if you are editing the profile of User1, and you set Add Sessions to Inherited (Enabled) for User1, this indicates that User1 inherits the Add Sessions setting of the group to which it belongs, and that currently the group to which it belongs has Add Sessions set to Enabled.
- Inherited (Disabled)
- This setting, which is available only when you open the Disable Functions window from the Administration Utility, indicates that the currently selected user or group inherits the setting of the group to which it belongs, and that this setting is disabled in the group.
- Inherit All
- The currently selected user or group inherits all its settings from the group to which it belongs.
