Controlling the Use of the Compiler via Security Profiles

A FACILITY CLASS profile is provided to allow you to control access to a licensed site PL/I compiler:

 FILEM.PLI.EXTERNAL

If a File Manager user ID has CONTROL access or higher to this profile, File Manager always uses the licensed site compiler, if available, to compile templates from PL/I include books. If the profile does not exist or the user ID has less than CONTROL access, File Manager uses the internal PL/I compiler.
