Index definition members

Insert New member panel

The Insert New member panel to create a new index is displayed when:

A new index directory data set is created.
The prefix command, I, is entered on the Index List panel.
The primary command S new_member_name is entered on the Index List panel.

Field descriptions

Member: The name of the new index definition member to be created. This is the index name.
Description: A brief description of the index being created.
