To determine policies in DevOps Code ClearCase® control

About this task

You can determine UCM project policies in Project Explorer while running on a system that has DevOps Code ClearCase® installed. If the project is enabled for Rational® ClearQuest®, you can also set some policies from the Rational® ClearQuest® client.

Procedure

  1. In Project Explorer, navigate to and select the PVOB.
  2. Click File > Policies.
    The Policies window opens at the Components page and shows other tabs for policies that affect the project in different areas.
  3. Click Help for information about setting project and per-stream policies.
  4. Click the tab for the policy area.
    For example, on the ClearQuest® page of the project Policies window are policies that affect the UCM integration with Rational® ClearQuest®.
  5. Do the following actions:
    • Set the check boxes next to the policies to enable them.
    • Clear the check box to disable the related policy.
