Migrating to IBM Z Software Asset Management from an earlier version

You can upgrade to IBM Z Software Asset Management 8.3 from IBM Z Software Asset Management 8.2 on either a Db2® Repository database or an SQLite database. Optionally, by using another approach to migrate, repository data from 8.1 or 8.2 is unloaded and then reloaded to a newly defined 8.3 repository.
