Recording and virtualizing in a secure bus

To record and virtualize in a secure bus, ensure that the mediations authentication alias is defined, users are set up with appropriate roles to access the destinations, and application security is enabled. These definitions are set up in IBM® WebSphere® Application Server.

Procedure

• Ensure that the mediations authentication alias is defined and is associated with users or groups that are in the Bus Connector and Sender roles.
• If users are recording or stubbing using sift-and-pass-through capability, ensure that the users specified in IBM® Rational® Integration Tester are able to receive messages from the required topic space greenhat.topic.space.
• If bus security is enabled, ensure that application security is enabled.
