Exporting an Rational® Integration Tester test to Engineering Test Management

You can export the Rational® Integration Tester test to IBM® Engineering Test Management. After the test is exported, it displays as a test script in a test case.

About this task

To export a test, perform the following steps:

Procedure

In Rational® Integration Tester, in Test Factory, right-click a test, and then click Export. The Export Test window opens.
Select the Engineering Test Management integration and click OK. Engineering Test Management opens, and your test displays as a test script.
Configure and start an agent computer.
In Engineering Test Management, open the test in the test case and run the test case.
In the Run Test Case window, select Modify Execution Variable Value. The test displays under Test Script. Notice that the input tag information that you defined in Rational® Integration Tester is displayed.
Run the test. In the test results, notice that the output tag that you defined in Rational® Integration Tester is displayed in Execution Variables.
