This also applies to identical windows from one application and identical HTML documents. Ambiguous recognition will cause script playback failure unless the duplicate application is closed.

Projects that are created with a newer version of the product cannot connect to projects created with an older version of the product.

You cannot connect to the project.

Ensure that the project is created with a newer version of Rational® Functional Tester. Verify that the project directory contains the project and the datastore definition is present.
