Recording tests from HCL OneTest™ UI

When you initiate the recording from HCL OneTest™ UI, the recording does not start until you open an app in the mobile client.

Procedure

  1. If no project exists, create a project.
  2. On the mobile device, tap mobile client > Managed web applications.
  3. Tap the app you want to record and tap Record. Now, you can interact with the app.
  4. To stop the recording, close the app on the mobile device and click the Stop client icon Stop Recording Session in the workbench.
    The test is generated and available in the test project in the Test Navigator view.
