Test Manager Guide
This guide describes how to keep track of the performance of the application by evaluating the test results. Following topics cover how you can work with the test results.
Unified reports
Unified reports in HCL OneTest™ UI provide a detailed overview of the test results. Unified reports also provide an extensive user interface that you can use to analyze or apply filters on the test results.
Exporting unified reports
You can export unified reports to download them in different formats: as a compressed file which contains an HTML file or as a PDF file.

  - Publishing test results to the server
    The test results indicates the quality of application under test. Different stakeholders to the application might want to check the quality of application but do not have the workbench or desktop client installed. As a desktop client user, you can publish the test result to HCL OneTest™ Server so that others can view it from the web browser.
  - Publishing specific results to the server
    If you have a single test result or multiple test results that are not yet published to HCL OneTest™ Server, you can publish a single or all of them simultaneously.

    Unified reports in HCL OneTest™ UI provide a detailed overview of the test results. Unified reports also provide an extensive user interface that you can use to analyze or apply filters on the test results.

      HCL OneTest™ UI supports localization of some languages when you export the unified report to a PDF file.

Exporting unified reports

You can export unified reports to download them in different formats: as a compressed file which contains an HTML file or as a PDF file.

Procedure

To export unified reports, you can use one of the following methods:

Click to export to the HTML format as a compressed file.

Note: This is the default option that you can use to export unified reports.

The exported unified report includes the summary, test steps, and screenshots.
Click to export the unified report in a specific format:
1. Select the HTML(default) or PDF file format from the Choose File Format drop-down list.
  Restriction: Exporting unified reports in PDF format does not support verification point for HCL OneTest™ UI and localization of the following languages:
  - Czech (cs)
  - Hungarian (Hu)
  - Japanese (ja_JP)
  - Korean (ko)
  - Polish (pl)
  - Russian (ru_RU)
  - Simplified Chinese (zh_CN)
  - Traditional Chinese (zh_TW)
  - Turkish (tr)
2. Select Include Steps under Set Preference to include the summary and steps of the playback in the report.
3. Select Include Screenshots under Set Preference to include the summary, test steps, and screenshots of the playback in the report.
  
  Note: When you clear user preferences, then the report contains only the summary.
4. Click Export.
